Cameroon’s recently renewed ties with Brazil following Paul Biya’s visit is proof not only of strengthened diplomatic relations but equally a win-win move.

In April 2005, Louis Ignatio Lula Da Sylva, Brazilian President was in Cameroon under the invitation of his fellow brother Paul Biya. Discussions and signing of new accords on bilateral relations characterized that visit. In August of this year, 5 years after the formers visit, Cameroon’s Head of State has returned the courtesy call, a move that has only served as a catalyst to development prospects with the Latin American country.

Une délégation du Rassemblement Démocratique du Peuple Camerounais (Rdpc) a été reçue au siège d’Elecam à Yaoundé,  mercredi 04 août 2010.

Cette rencontre rentrait dans le cadre d’une série de concertations engagées par  Elections Cameroon (Elecam), l’organe indépendant chargé du processus électoral au Cameroun, depuis le 13 avril 2010 avec les leaders des partis politiques qui animent le jeu démocratique dans le pays.

The March 2010 report on projects executed in the peninsular shows that most of the 247 priority projects earmarked are being realized thereby creating a gradual joie de vivre in the zone.

Since August 2008, the government of Cameroon has been offering a new deal to inhabitants of the Bakassi zone. A think tank dubbed coordination and follow up committee for the implementation of priority projects to be realized in Bakassi was created. Charged with carrying out a strategic brainstorming on the effective ownership of the acquired territory and the construction of infrastructure for the Cameroonian administration, the committee identified particular projects to be accomplished by various ministries.

C’était au cours d’un atelier d’appui à l’élaboration de la stratégie nationale de lutte contre la corruption tenu à Bafoussam les 5 et 6 Août derniers.

L’atelier de Bafoussam qui a regroupé une soixantaine de journalistes, secteur public et privé confondus, venus des différentes régions du Cameroun, ainsi que des membres de la société civile avait pour principal objectif le renforcement du pilier d’intégrité médias dans le cadre de la lutte contre la corruption assignée à la CONAC.

Le Secrétaire général du Comité Central du RDPC a repris, par le Mfoundi 5 son tour des sections de la capitale. Jeudi, il sera dans le Mfoundi 2. La boucle sera bouclée vendredi 30 avril par le Mfoundi 4.
