Militant of the CPDM Ndonga Mantung III section-Ako have ones more renewed their confidence and determination to support the national president of the party H.E Paul Biya in his development dreams.
This was during a ceremony that took place in Ako recently during which the mayor, Emini Emmanuel, the CPDM section president for Ndonga Mantung III Ako Hon. Nfor Joseph, and other elites of the area all praised president Paul Biya for the realization of numerous projects in Ako under the CPDM. `` I want comrade Paul Biya to know that the whole of Ako sub division is willing and determined to stay by him in the up coming presidential elections. He should accept the plea of the people and accept to be our candidate for 2011`` said Hon. Ntoi. Only president Paul Biya can bring the desired development needed by the area. He has proven this through the realization of legitimate ambitions and continuous fight for the consolidation of peace and unity as well as the fight against poverty.
Counting their blessings and naming them one by one the section president said the achievements of the subdivision for the past 25 years with the CPDM have been enormous and could vividly talk of the grading of the Nkambe – Ako road, the electrification of the sub division which has already been contracted, the Ako pipe born water project in progress, the creation of the seven (07) secondary schools with some three others in the pipeline as well as the over thirty seven(37) primary schools with at least a trained teacher.
Like Oliver Twist who will always ask for more, Hon. Ntoi on behalf of the population ask that government should raise Ako sub division to a full division with headquarters in Kuna, staff the existing hospital and Health centers, supply more elements and service vehicles to the frontier police post, the Gendarmerie Brigade Ako and the customs post Abuenshie. The frontier police post it is said has only one police man, no befitting building nor a motto cycle.
New militants from the other parties joined the CPDM party. Some ten militants who had been militating with other parties crossed the carpet to join the winning team in Ako. The carpet crossing by Ntoi Victor and the Fon of Akwaja from UDP and SDF respectively to join the CPDM has made political analyst to say that the sub division now has no opposition given that these were the highest threats to the CPDM in Ako.
The new militants were dressed in the CPDM regalia by the section president. The celebration in Ako ended with the reading of a message of congratulation addressed to the president of the Cameroon’s People Democratic Movement (CPDM).
