The Executive of the CPDM USA Section, sitting as a disciplinary committee of the Section, after careful deliberations,
Considering the gravity of the ridicule Mr. Mpeck’s action has brought to the Party’s image,
Considering the Section’s extensive investigations on this matter,
Considering the facts from the Secret Service report, herewith attached,
Considering the contents and provisions in Articles 2, 32, 33, 34 and 35 of the Constitution and disciplinary procedure laid down in Article 87 of the By-Laws,
Considering Mr. Patrick Mpeck’s long standing (15 years) membership, continued adherence to all Party norms and positive contributions to the party even during the tough fights with the opposition parties here in the United States,
Considering the Section’s quest to scrupulously respect the Party’s disciplinary principles,
The Section’s sitting disciplinary committee has decided to suspend Mr. Patrick Mpeck, for a period up to six months as the CPDM USA Section Vice President, in relation to his participation in the demonstration that took place at the Cameroon Embassy in Washington DC, USA on the 19th November 2009.
We realized with dismay that Mr. Mpeck, as the section Vice president was the main organizer and participant in this strike action which did not only undermined the integrity and credibility of the Government’s bureaucratic machinery, but exposed the CPDM Party to public ridicule and grievous peril of disintegration.
If Mr. Mpeck further ridicules the Party during his time of suspension, further disciplinary action will ensue.
Done at Washington, DC, USA this 22th day of April, 2010.
