En marge de la célébration de l’an 40 du Rdpc, le 29 mars dans cet organe de base, à Wembley Park, à Londres, les militants et sympathisants lui ont promis une victoire transparente et sans bavure à l’élection présidentielle d’octobre prochain.
L’heure est à la mobilisation dans la section Rdpc de Grande Bretagne et d’Irlande du Nord, pour une préparation efficience et efficace de l’élection présidentielle, prévue en octobre prochain. En effet, ce sont des militantes et militants visiblement enthousiastes qui se sont retrouvés en la résidence de la présidente de section, Grace Elone, pour célébrer le Rdpc et son Président national Paul Biya, mais aussi faire le point sur le parcours du parti dans le paysage politique camerounais.
L’occasion a également été saisie par la présidente de la section pour féliciter le Président national du Parti pour son travail acharné, sa vision et son leadership. Elle l’a assuré de son soutien indéfectible, en particulier lors des prochaines élections.
Prenant la parole, le Haut-Commissaire du Cameroun au Royaume-Uni, Son Excellence Albert Njoteh Fotabong, invité d’honneur à cette célébration, s’est dit ravi de voir le fort déploiement du Rdpc au Royaume-Uni, plus particulièrement en cette année électorale. D’entrée de jeu, il a rappelé aux militants et sympathisants que 2025 était une année importante dans la vie du parti, qui devrait se préparer en conséquence. Car, comme l’a rappelé le Haut-Commissaire, beaucoup reste à faire en matière de mobilisation et il n’y a plus de temps à perdre. Il les a de ce fait exhorté à se mettre immédiatement au travail, afin d’assurer un vote massif à leur candidat favori, le Président Paul Biya, en octobre prochain. D’autre part, il a exhorté les responsables de la section Rdpc de Grande Bretagne et d’Irlande du Nord à veiller à ce que le Parti obtienne la totalité des suffrages exprimés au Royaume-Uni. C’est ainsi qu’il a insisté sur la nécessité pour la présidente de section et son équipe de veiller à ce que tous les militants soient dûment inscrits sur les listes électorales, ce qui, selon lui, est le seul moyen de remporter une élection. Avis partagé par la présidente de section, Grace Elone qui a rappelé aux militants l’importance des inscriptions sur les listes électorales, gage des victoires transparentes. Par ailleurs, elle a appelé ses camarades à rester vigilants face aux discours de haine que prônent les ennemis de la paix et à se mobiliser en permanence, en prévision des scrutins annoncés.

CPDM Section Great Britain and Northern Ireland Declaration on the Clarion Call for His Excellency President Paul BIYA’s Candidature for the Next Presidential Election
We, the militants and sympathizers of the CPDM Section of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, in an enlarged Section Conference at London, on the 29thof March 2025 declare as follows:
Considering the efforts of President Paul BIYA in promoting peace and social cohesiveness in Cameroon since His accession to the helm of the state on the 6th of November1982.
Considering His permanent commitment to the protection and preservation of the national territorial integrity and in the integration of women in the society.
Considering his determination and firmness in the war against terrorism and other retrograde and nefarious forces which threaten the peace and stability of our country.
Considering His will to fight against youth unemployment and under-employment.
Considering the actions undertaken to improve the living conditions of the entire Cameroonian population and its Diaspora.
Considering the necessity to have at the helm of our country, a man endowed with experience national level, which is marked by important geopolitical crisis affecting Cameroon and the world.
Cognisant of His great wisdom and His commitment to fundamental democratic values, which distinguish our country as an internationally recognized haven.
Cognisant of all the remarkable actions undertaken in Cameroon, especially the construction of major investment projects in education, health, energy and infrastructure sectors among others.
Referring to the Statutes of our Great Party
We humbly appeal incessantly to President Paul BIYA to kindly accept, when the time comes to present His candidature for the next presidential election to complete the work already embarked for a united and prosperous Cameroon.
We assure Him of the support of all the militants of Great Britain and Northern Ireland andsympathizersofourGreatPartyaswellasallthelivingforcesintheUnited Kingdom.
We pray the Almighty God to continue to pour His grace on H.E. President Paul BIYA, National President of the CPDM President of the Republic and Head of State in the conduct of His very exalting and heavy functions that the people of Cameroon in all sovereignty have democratically bestowed and renewed in Him.
